Day 3
Torture has passed for now.
The day started like any other with us waking up at 6 am, and doing our daily routines: brushing our teeth; folding our bedsheets and changing into uniform. Roll call came as loud as a lion's roar, almost breaking my ear drums. Then we one by one dragged ourselves out to the corridor.
As we went for the one hour of exercise and the morning run. Breakfast tasted fine; I had some soup and eggs. Then, we grouped up in front of the gate of the camp and one of the instructors pulled me out and handed me a flag. Soon after that, we were told that we would have to go to a military museum and that we were marching there and I was a flag bearer. We marched for 30 minutes, and finally reached the museum as my arms finally gave out and we went in to see the different types of weaponry, the guns from all parts of the world and different times. After looking through the museum we took some photos and headed out and the 30 minutes of marching back with a 9 kilo flag started again. When we came back we ate some lunch and had our nap. 2 hours later, we went to ride an armored truck and felt it a bit before taking some pictures and doing some drills. Lastly we had some dinner and washed our clothes before taking showers room by room and going to sleep.
